Stock take app for hospitality
Count on your phone, right at the shelf. BevoraX compares expected and counted stock with its value and books the difference as a traceable correction.

The problem
A stock take often means printing a list, counting, typing it into a spreadsheet at night and hunting for the difference. Open bottles are guessed, and nobody can tell afterwards whether a gap was shrinkage or a typo.
How BevoraX solves it
Count sheet per location
A count starts with the products of its location. You count in cases and units, the way stock sits on the shelf.
Fill level for open bottles
Record open bottles with a fill-level slider, or put them on a scale: BevoraX calculates the fill level from the bottle's empty and full weight, to the gram instead of a guess. Included in Pro and Advanced.
Expected vs counted, with value
When you close a count, BevoraX compares expected and counted stock, with quantities and value per product.
Corrections that stay traceable
The difference is saved as its own entry and feeds into the shrinkage analysis.
How it works
- 1
Start a count
Pick a location and the count sheet is ready.
- 2
Count
Enter cases, units, fill levels or bottle weights on your phone.
- 3
Close
Review differences and book them as corrections.
Worked example
One count line with an open bottle
- Expected from bookings: gin 0.7 l
- 12.0 bottles
- Counted: 11 full bottles and 1 open at 40%
- 11.4 bottles
- Difference: 0.6 bottles = 420 ml
- -0.6 bottles
- Correction at a stock value of €18.00 per bottle
- -€10.80
The correction shows up in the shrinkage analysis for that product and location.
Frequently asked questions
Can I do the stock take on my phone?
Yes. BevoraX runs in the browser and as an app on your home screen, and the count sheet is built for phones.
How are open bottles counted?
With a fill-level slider, or more precisely on a scale. Weighing is part of the Pro and Advanced plans. Enter the empty and full weight once per product, then type in the weight of the open bottle: 480 g empty, 1,180 g full and 830 g on the scale make 50 %. BevoraX converts the fill level to millilitres using the bottle's content.
How often should I do a stock take?
A full count once a month is common, often with an extra weekly count for expensive spirits. The more often you count, the more precisely shrinkage can be tied to a period.
Do staff see prices while counting?
No. Staff count quantities. Only managers and owners see stock values and costs.
